Movies and Apartments

So me and my husband were watching this movie and we couldn't help but notice that there apartments are always awesome. This isn't the first time that I have noticed that it is the first time I felt inclined to write about it. I love it, because it always starts of with them saying (sorry it's a dump but it is all I can afford) I live in what is one of the cheapest places I have could fine and I'm not complaining because I live in a amazing town. How ever it isn't anything to be envied. It is so small I have to get creative to put my undies away no exaggeration. But these people who make minimum wage or sometimes jobless live in these huge lofts in down town New York. They can afford furniture that is right out of a designer furniture place. It took me a year to justify buying a duvet cover and a cheap chair from Ross. When you are poor you learn to sow and get super creative with every home furnishing you can think of. So I don't know if anyone else has noticed this. If you have tell me what movie you saw and what kind of place they lived at. This could be fun.

thanks for reading your kookie surfer girl

Autumn

Just A Tuesday afternoon

So this Tuesday morning I wasn't feeling particularly motivated to do anything but I went a head and decided I should go about doing stuff even though I didn't want to. So I got the first step of many to get my Aesthetician license in California. I am going to be getting more money orders and Cashiers checks to do this than I have ever bought in my life. But at least the first of at least three steps is done. It takes about a month for the first step then I have no idea after that haha. Who to say if I will be able to do anything with my license at least for a while but hopefully.

I can't wait till my leg is better the surf looks amazing today I think I am after cleaning house going to walk down and watch the other surfers with envy. So I figure since I have to sit here like a little old lady icing my leg I might as well write something.

So I am about half way done with my new organization ideas for my studio apartment it won't look to much different but things hopefully will fit in here a little better.

I bought some really cute material to try to make another skirt it is a bit see through though so I need to figure out what I want to do abut finding a material to put a slip under it. Will see if I can actually figure out how to sow.

As far as my writing of my book I've been off since I've moved here. I have all these ideas so hopefully I will find the motivation now that I have a little bit of time. I bought a grammar rule book and this other crazy book so far I'm not quite sure if it has helped me or stumped me haha. But will see. One thing they said that is a good thing to do is to write about yourself. It helps you to figure out how to describe things. Well I hate talking about myself let alone writing about myself. But here I am writing away.

I'm also though a bit hesitant being as I have no idea what my schedule is going to be, I am going to sign up to auxiliary pioneer for the month of April. It is only thirty hours so I should be able to make it.

So the day is only half over so I guess I should probable get to work. Thanks for checking out my blog hopefully there will actually be some more exciting stuff to write about soon enough.

My first week as a surf bum I mean house wife

So a little over a week ago I finally had enough with all the harassment and quit my job. It was at first a bit depressing, then of course a little stressful thinking of how I will now for at least a little while not be making any money. But now I'm at that stage of I can finally get some actual house work done that I've needed to get too for months. I just wish my leg was up to surfing everyday. I injured it a few weeks back and though it's getting better I have to take it on the easy side for a bit.

Current events that have happened have been rather insane. There was a Tsunami that hit Japan last Friday the 12th of March. It is devastating, we got a little bit of what was left over here in Santa Cruz which hit the Harbor. Not even a comparison though. That is the sad news

I guess that is all that is on my mind at this late hour. So with that I bid you a goodnight and till next time.
